We had amazing weather for a November morning and these girls sure knew how to make it work. I love photographing Peyton and Ally - they have personalities so different and yet both so delighful. They managed to keep a smile on my face the entire session! This year, they brought along a ‘little man’ that they had borrowed from a family member for the weeked. I am sure he had a blast hanging out with them… who wouldn’t?

OK, so he’s actually her brother. They were both such a treat for me this afternoon…. Evan played his grandfather’s guitar while I snapped photos. Erica ‘got’ me and was quick to re-position her bro’ when my instructions just didn’t make sense. And we couldn’t finish the day without catching a few snaps with mom. You guys are beautiful - thanks for reminding me why I love doing this.

I met up with the K family on a perfect afternoon at one of my favorite downtown spots. Seth and Maddie are close in age to one of my own little munchkins, so I was looking foward to getting to know them… and they did not disappoint! They were so well behaved and were so much fun to hang out with. Everyone was so patient with me as I walked them all over the park trying to capture ‘the perfect smile.’ I think we finally found it, too.

I can’t believe how much this little guy has changed since last year… he has the sweetest personality and the biggest blue eyes you will ever see. His excitement is just contagious! I had a blast playing on the railroad track with him… makes me miss the days when my own guys were that young. Two is such a fun age.

Evan has so much personality…. I always love photographing his many expressions. He even brought his own camera to catch some special shots during our session this year. Looks like he may be great on both sides of the lens, huh? Little bro’ Carson joined us for the first time this year, too. Doesn’t he have the cutest smile ever? Once we moved him out of the wind, we got to see plenty of it!

A family dear to my heart….. I met them on a photo shoot that seems ages ago by now. It has been a treat to watch them blossom into such beautiful and successful people and I love the time I get to spend with them. Mom and Dad…..’you done good!’

Stunning…… isn’t she? Greenwood High School has quite a beauty walking the halls one more year….. We were lucky to catch a break during a weekend full of less-than-desirable weather and we had a great session. She never tired of smiling (or ’no smiling’) and I never tired of shooting photos. I hope you like what we got…. I sure do!

It’s so hard to believe that Little Miss R. is already turning one….. I remember big sister L. at close to the same age. They are both such beautiful girls ~ just like their mother. I really love the sense of style that this family has, too - as usual, their clothing looks fantastic! We finally had great weather this weekend after rescheduling due to all the yucky rain last week. I think it was worth the wait, don’t you?!?!

I took the opportunity to crash the family picnic of some dear friends this weekend…. what a treat! The weather was amazing, the food divine, and the company was perfect. The three Porter sisters seldom have the chance to gather their familes together, so this was a photo opportunity that we just couldn’t pass up. Becky, Jean, & Lynn….. look what a beautiful group you created!
I LOVE this family! I felt like a member of the group today…. so, watch out - I may decide to show up for Christmas, too
